Originally from Chicago, my family opened Johnnies on the north side of Chicago, in 1952. I carried on my family’s business bringing Chicago inspired food to Denver, Colorado.

Opening Red Hot Experience, which was a Chicago style deli that served Vienna products, was just a START! I opened five more delis and finally I settled in Greenwood Village in 1988 for 12 years with Ristorante Catalano, off Holly & Orchard.

One of the few places where food has been the closest to authentic. The seating is a bit tight but the atmosphere and the service is at the top of the charts. I took my granddaughter there for her birthday day. The staff was on top of things and brought out the most gorgeous and delicious desert. Absolutely fabulous!!! Thanks to the staff who made our dinner that more special.

We met friends for dinner who happen to have traveled in Italy with us. Each of us enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was attentive, but also let us relax and visit. We had been to Chianti before several years ago and will make more of a point to go there again soon.
